Nose

Dark chocolate and bright red fruit aromas, with hints of tobacco.

Palate

The midpalate has a rich texture, and is very well balanced. Notes of dark cherry and licorice flavors in the mouth, with velvety tannins and a lingering finish.

Winemaking

Fermentation in stainless steel tanks with daily pumpovers.

Aging

Aged 22 months in French oak barrels, 50% new.
