Notes of cherry griottes, currant, leather and tea leaves.
Palate
Silky upon entry and yet very firm, the palate is treated to a generous roundness and finesse. The great core of sweet ripe fruit, chocolate covered cherries, blackberry, blueberry, black licorice, sweet vanilla, exotic spices and a touch of smokiness bursts from the glass with a minerality complementing the fruits. This youthful wine of powerful richness and depth with beautifully integrated tannins in its complex structure will only continue to evolve and gain more complexity with age.
