Nose
The aromas of this wine seduce you with notes of cedar, bay laurel, cocoa and deep plum.
Palate
The palate is expansive throughout with mouthwatering flavors of black plum, coffee, chocolate and savory hints of mushroom and bay leaf. The wine fills the mouth with richness, fruit, a bright acidity and just enough tannin to lengthen the wine into a great lingering aftertaste.
Growing Conditions
2014 was an ideal growing season in Napa; it was warm punctuated by four nice bursts of hot weather. Harvest was a dream with fruit ripening evenly and arriving at the winery early and in beautifully healthy condition.

21 months in 91% French and 9% American oak (29% new)
