A nod to our patriarch’s Bob MacDonnell’s favorite varietal, our Nebbiolo has found its Califor-
nia personality here in our Rutherford vineyards. The nose reveals savory spices and anise before
opening up into fruitier aromatics of ripe strawberries and dried orange peel.
Palate
Once in your mouth, the firm tannins take hold and yield a medium weight and long finish. This additional hang time markedly slowed sugar
accumulation and ripening, ultimately producing deep, alluring, finesse-driven wines.
