This Napa Valley Red Wine Blend is rich, textured, and complex with flavors of berries, red currants, and chocolate. Hints of toasted herbs, dark fruit compote and cocoa notes are interwoven with supple tannins for a long finish.

Our Bound and Determined Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits an abundant perfume of black currant and bing cherry, intermingled with intoxicating notes of lilac, wild spices and wet slate. The wine shows incredible depth and has tiers of mouthwatering flavors of black cherry, vanilla, cassis and oak.

The Hypothesis Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon is produced from one of best vineyards in all of the Napa Valley (The Money Road Vineyard in Oakville). This Cabernet is small in production and spends 18 months in French Oak barrels. The blend is primarily Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon, but also has Pritchard Hill Malbec and Pritchard Hill Merlot. The wine has incredible depth and complexity, delicious black fruits and amazing opulence. Hypothesis Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon is a muscular wine that loves to be paired with food, but is sophisticated enough to stand on its own.

Our Sonoma Coast Chardonnay is 100% barrel fermented and is all about balance. The cool coastal influence provides rich acidity and delicious tropical fruit flavors, while the barrel fermentation lends itself to creamy toasted notes of spice and vanilla. Very food friendly and crowd pleasing!

This Merlot is rich, textured, and complex with flavors of wild berries, red currants, plum, and chocolate. Hints of roasted herbs, toasted vanilla, and bright fruit are interwoven with supple tannins for a long, lasting finish.

The 2016 Graduate is always a favorite in our blending sessions. It offers seductive aromas of wild fruits, cassis and warm blackberry pie that invites you in for more. Hints of freshly shaved chocolate, pencil shavings, and ripe fruit compote mesh well with soft, robust tannins that provide for a mouthwatering finish.

What can we say about our Napa County Cabernet Sauvignon? It’s sumptuous, lush, and full-bodied with flavors of juicy blackberry and cherry fruit, creamy milk chocolate, and dusty notes all tied together with a toasty oak finish that in a word is...lingering. Educated Guess fills all the requirements that a serious cabernet lover is looking for while remaining fun, approachable, and food-friendly!

The 2016 Valedictorian is a fantastic blend of 85% Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Napa Valley Malbec and 5 % Napa Valley Merlot. Deep, brooding flavors of preserved plum and blackberry pie are accented perfectly with hints of cedar and mocha. Layers of minerality, graphite, and wild berries make this a rich and full-bodied wine. A splash of Merlot provides a satin-like finish.

This Rutherford Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is produced from one of best vineyards in all of the Napa Valley (Beckstoffer Georges III in Rutherford)—a vineyard well known for producing some of the valley’s most expensive and highly acclaimed Cabernets. This Cabernet spends 18 months in French Oak barrels and is primarily Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon, but also has mountain grown Petit Verdot. The wine has incredible depth and complexity, delicious red and black fruits and amazing opulence.

Our Pinot Noir is truly a labor of love. Handcrafted in every way to ensure that our wine has plenty of lush fruit to balance out the crisp acidity that makes the Sonoma Coast unique. Our Educated Guess Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is deep, rich, and concentrated in color and texture with ripe strawberry, dark plum, and wild berry fruit. Hints of spice and cola with firm tannins in the finish.

Our North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon opens with concentrated aromas of dark berries, plums, and a hint of cracked peppercorn. The primary source for the Cabernet fruit is from the famed Beckstoffer Crimson Ridge Vineyard. This vineyard is known for its volcanic soils and has a western facing orientation, which provides the wine with amazing structure and depth due to its extended hang time. The Oakville portion of the blend comes from a vineyard tucked away between Groth and Rudd Wineries, and is called “The Money Vineyard” (no pun intended) and is owned and farmed by the Laird family. This Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon brings to the blend a perfect sense of elegance and smooth velvety tannins. The final blend is luscious and full bodied, excites the senses, and is packed full of exotic flavors of tea spice, dark chocolate, and fruit preserves.

The 2016 Scholar is a wonderful wine that begins our reserve wine series. It is a beautifully crafted wine that bursts from the glass with intense black cherry, currant liquor, mocha, and crushed violets. Concentrated flavors of exotic spice and roasted sage pair amazingly well with tiers of freshly crushed black and blue fruits. The small touches of Merlot provide just the right amount of grace and softness to create refined tannins and a long lasting finish.

The 2016 Ph.D. is the pinnacle of our reserve wine series. It is 90% Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Napa Valley Malbec. This is a muscular wine that offers a bounty of both fruit and earth driven aromatics. Bursts of black currant and blackberry fruit leap from the glass. Notes of chocolate, graphite, and wild fruit layer themselves together seamlessly. Cocoa and hits of oak grace the palate as tiers of rich, exotic flavors unfold, providing a satisfying backbone.

The inaugural vintage, 2018 Truth Be Told Cabernet Sauvignon comes out of the gate roaring. An intoxicating nose of vividly bright fruits, wet stone and hints of tobacco notes all leap from the glass. A well-structured wine with juicy acidity is balanced by tiers of rich ripe berries, plum and licorice. A touch of new oak adds texture while layers of shaved chocolate and ripe tannins meld together to create a long, luxurious finish.
