Growing Conditions
We are thrilled to continue to source from this highly unique site of mature Grenache vines on top of Mt. Veeder. At first glance, Grenache on the cool slopes of Mt. Veeder might raise a few eyebrows, yet one visit to the steep south-facing hillside vineyard with shale and sand soils, and everything makes sense. Each vintage the fruit has ripened beautifully, and the result is a wine that has clear, detailed aromatics and flavors.
