Rich, dark and brooding inky color layered flavors of blackberries, chocolate and peppercorns.

Growing Conditions

Planted in gravelly clay loam at 300 feet elevation on the Dry Creek Bench, these old Petite Sirah vines date back to pre-prohibition.

Aging

19 months in French Oak.

Food Pairing

Mouth-coating yet silky tannins that pair greatly with the bold flavors of beef, or pork tenderloin, venison, and leg of lamb with mint jelly.
