Growing Conditions

Our Mendocino County Zin hails from vines nurtured by cobbly red loam soil in an area known for its short, warm days and cool nights. These conditions create the no-holds-barred, bright red fruit characteristics typical of the region.

Winemaking

Native yeast fermentation, 5–8 days skin contact.

Aging

12–18 months in French oak barrels, 20% new.

Grilled chicken thighs, baked dark-meat turkey, and pizza.
