The 2012 ICON displays alluring blackberry, mulberry, and blueberry with exciting hints of anise and pie spice. Lively and weighty, this wine has wonderful tannins and texture, offering structure and grip without being aggressive. Its generous finish is a blend of fruit and spice that carries on long after the wine has left your mouth.
Winemaking
100% native yeast. Fermented separately in small open-top fermenters, manual punchdowns, 8 days skin contact.
Aging
19 months in French oak barrels, 40% new.
