Dried cherries, cranberries, and strawberry compliment mature and soft tannins, that are made all the more enjoyable with a layer of nutmeg and clove spice.
Growing Conditions
This bright, fruity Zinfandel comes from the Ravenswood Estate vines across from the winery on Gehricke Road. It is an excellent example of Zinfandel, produced from head-trained vines on the slopes of Mt. Raven that allow filtered sunlight to gently ripen the Zinfandel clusters.
