Nose
The 2015 vintage is packed with sun-ripened cherries, blackberry, and nutmeg aromas.
Palate
Chauvet Zin has a flavor profile all its own with flavors of bright cherry, cranberry, and ligonberry jam. As a result, Chauvet Zin is rich and round, with a silky tannic structure and a lingering finish.
Growing Conditions
Chauvet Vineyars is a mere 10 acres sadwiched between Barricia and Old Hill Vineyards planted almost exclusively to Zinfandel, mostly old vines planted in the 1930's interspersed with some younger ones.
