Palate
This wine is big, round, and berry filled, with almost a hint of dill, yet filled with jammy and raspberry characteristics, and a spicy, plummy character.
Growing Conditions
Old vines planted in the early 1890's on 14 acres. Volcanic, cobbly clay loam Manzanita soils. Big River Vineyard is on the high bench above the fog line at a 500 feet elevation.
