Nose
This cuvée has complex aromas of wild blackberries, violets, cured tobacco leaf, wet stone and crème de cassis.
Palate
Upfront on the palate, layered flavors of black cherry, ripe plum and a touch of black licorice take charge, while juicy black currants and anis linger on the long velvety finish. This wine is an excellent example of elegance, power and balance.

Following our traditional extended aging program of 22 months in French Oak and 24 months in bottle to tame the mountain tannins from the Mt. Veeder AVA.
