Growing Conditions

Nestled in a northeastern hillside
valley in Napa County, Pope Valley
Winery’s heritage dates back to
1897. Today our wines are hand
crafted in the original gravity flow
winery built over a century ago.

The Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon
& Merlot comprise the majority of
acreage at our Eakle Estate Ranch.
The terroir being Pleasanton loam
with areas of Bressa-Dibble Complex
giving the vine all the nutrients it
needs to yield exceptional fruit.
