Palate
Complex and bright, the palate features supple black cherry, blackberry and blueberry flavors rounded by elegant, lengthy tannins and notes of cocoa powder and sweet crème brulee. Our 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is delightfuly decadent now and will continue to unfold beautifully over time.
Growing Conditions
Peju’s Rutherford Estate is home to thirty acres of vines that stretch from
Highway 29 to the Napa River. With an emphasis placed on green farming
initiatives, our H.B. Vineyard has achieved California Certified Organic
status and is planted primarily with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet
Franc, and Merlot. The wine produced here is a classic representation
of Rutherford, a historic appellation known for wines of great depth,
complexity, and longevity.
