Nose
This wine features pronounced aromas of dark berries, espresso beans, licorice, citrus peel, allspice, and cigar box.
Palate
The deep flavors are layered with explosive notes of ripe blackberry, dark plum, cherry, black olive, clove, and dark chocolate. The texture is rich with firm structure, smooth tannins and a long, rewarding finish.

Winemaking
The wine was fermented right at Madrone Ridge Vineyards. Cold soaked for four days and barrel aged in 30% new French oak barrels.
