Growing Conditions

Estate grown from the 'Cœur de Vallée' vineyard in Oakville, Napa Valley. High density planting results in competition among the vines, while 3 1/4 x 6 foot spacing facilitates proper airflow. With meticulous attention to detail, our dedicated year-round farming team diligently tends to our vines. Our sustainable farming practices include: organic farming, soil cultivation and no use of herbicides.

Harvest

Hand-picked at night in 35-pound lugs, the grapes are transported to the winery exclusively in our refrigerated trucks. Thus, freshness and aromatics are preserved.

Bottling

Unfined & unfiltered

Winemaking

Native yeast & native lactic bacteria; Natural fermentation occurs in French oak puncheons and small capacity stainless steel tanks.

Aging

Sixteen to eighteen months exclusively in French oak barrels from select artisan coopers.
