This incredibly complex and well-structured wine, with refined flavors and textures, is bright, vibrant, and fresh; the palate has lush soft flavors of mango, peach, citrus, and passion fruit, with an exceptionally long, satisfying finish.
Growing Conditions
Metaphora’s winemaker Mark Herold sourced the 2014 Sauvignon Blanc grapes from the renowned Solari Vineyards in Napa Valley, which have produced some of Napa’s finest grapes since the 1960s.
Winemaking
Fermented sur lie in Concrete egg tanks and neutral French oak barrels.
