Our 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon from Howell Mountain conveys aromas of blackberry, blueberry, pie spices, lilac, cocoa, vanilla, soy and dried plums.


Bursting with flavors of black currant, dark cherry, sage, licorice and blackberry jam, this Cabernet is well-rounded with a nice mid palate and long finish that balances the chalky tannin profile.

Food Pairing

While it will improve for at least 8-10 years in the cellar, it can be enjoyed today with decanting. Pair with seared steak with mushrooms and onions, roasted duck breast with pecan purée or cheddar, gouda and monterey jack-like cheeses.
