Palate

This Cabernet exemplifies classic Rutherford Dust characteristics with fine dry tannins resulting in flavors of black cherry, dark cocoa powder and earthy tones for a smooth and balanced finish.

Growing Conditions

Though it was a challenging year for some producers, we had the opportunity to select fruit from the heart of Rutherford. Harvest was a little later which allowed for intense fruit flavors, deep color and a superb aroma.

Food Pairing

Pair with braised short ribs, seared duck breast with blackberry sauce, or roasted asparagus with mushrooms.
