Nose

Dark, ripe plum and black cherry notes are complimented by fresh earth, sweet tobacco and spice.

Palate

The palate has substantial weight, but it is very refined and, again, shows focus, balance, and elegance throughout the palate.

Growing Conditions

The Fort Ross-Seaview area — what some people might call the “True Sonoma Coast” is planted in a perfect location for Pinot Noir, on the hillsides overlooking the ocean with cool maritime breezes and warm sunny days.

While the 2015 vintage produced minimal quantities of Pinot Noir on the Sonoma Coast, the quality is superb. We have excellent concentration, but the wine maintains amazing elegance and balance as Pinot Noir should. This wine shows great depth both aromatically and on the palate.
