This Unoaked Chardonnay is fermented entirely in stainless steel tank, and aged in stainless with lees stirring to allow a creaminess to develop on the palate. This wine was put through a slow, cold fermentation to preserve and trap the floral attributes of kiwi, citrus zest, and nectarine. Blocking MLF allows the flavors of the grape to shine and promotes the freshness and natural zing that reflects the vineyard. The flavors of white peach and lychee are prominent with notes of green apple. The fresh, crisp floral, citrus character makes this the perfect "Day Drinking" wine.

Lawer Estates Viognier

Lawer Estates is a family-owned, limited production winery known for sustainably grown, terroir driven wines. More than a decade ago we fell in love with Calistoga and purchased our vineyard property. The special characteristics, terroir and microclimates of our vineyard inspired us to create our one-of-a-kind wines.

The Lawer Estates vineyards have the ideal terroir and microclimates to nurture a diverse range of varietals including Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Chardonnay, Viognier and Petite Syrah. On summer days, coastal breezes make their way through the gap in the hills and up the creek that meanders through our vineyard. This cooling infuses our wines with unmistakable character. Complementing this ideal microclimate is a subterranean volcanic reservoir that nurtures our vines year-round, and provides essential hydration even in times of drought. 

Lawer Estates is a labor of love run by the entire Lawer family alongside our experienced viticulture and winemaking team. We feel blessed to be the stewards of this rare vineyard property and we hope that you enjoy our wines.

Rosé

The acclaimed Rose from Lawer Estates is a beautiful shining blush color. The wine exudes notes of fresh-cut strawberries, rose petals, and watermelon. The Lawer Rose of Syrah finishes clean and crisp, along with the floral elements carrying through the very long, precise finish.

The Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits depths of red with hues of purple. The aromas are bright, ripe, and forward with a strong concentration of blackberry and anise with vanilla and oak integration. The palate is dominated by ripe, sweet berry and cedar-oak qualities. The flavors are long and round, finishing with firm, pleasant tannins. This well integrated wine shows silkiness and finesse with overall balance and harmony.

The wine has a deep purple color. Aromas of crushed red berry fruit, plum jam and the spicy notes typical of this varietal hint at the palate. The rich berry flavors and firm tannin structure combines structure with polish, offering notes of ripe blackberry, dark chocolate, grilled herb and toasty spice that linger toward refined tannin leading to a richly layered and concentrated palate. The wine is full bodied, but plush and soothing in texture.

Sparkling

This sparkling Rosé is very versatile and will pair well with food.  It offers bright, fresh fruit and a crisp 
clean finish. Fresh, vivid aromas of black cherries, red berries and citrus introduce soft red fruit flavors that are rich and mouth-filling, yet retain the elegant full-flavored notes of cherry, currant and strawberry.

Chosen from a careful selection of Pinot Noir grapes, this Rosé wine presents an elegant pale pink color. The nose is intense and fruity, with aromas reminiscent of red fruits such as cherries and strawberries. Its mouth is well balanced, with strong acidity and minerality. The Rose finishes clean and crisp, a pretty wine enjoyable anytime.

The Lawer Chardonnay is produced with the minimal use of new oak, to allow the bright varietal character to shine through. Fresh fruit and floral aromas dominate the nose; pink grapefruit, tangerine, citrus blossom, and apple flavors are complemented by a bit of wet stone. Silky. Oak influence creates a nice mid-palate allowing the wine to show a balanced acidity that carries through the long finish.

A complex assemblage of primarily Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, Lawer Brut opens with gorgeous layered Citrus, pear and floral aromas, followed by creamy vanilla, citrus, stone fruit and melon. With elegant acidity and crisp structure, this medium-bodied sparkling wine displays an excellent mousse and a rich, lingering finish. Refreshing acidity and fruit character makes Lawer Brut an excellent food wine.

This Cabernet Sauvignon has deep hues of red and purple, indicative of the integrity that follows.
Aromas of intense ripe blackberry and currant are laced with tones of chocolate and cedar. 
Rich flavors of ripe berry, notes of nuts and toasted oak, and hints of earth linger on the finish. This wine shows intensity and balance, elegance and charm.

White Blend

The Lawer Viogner is brilliant with shades of yellow and flashes of green. The bouquet is fresh with orange marmalade, nectarines, and citrus. Flavors are reminiscent of peach and lemon zest, with a crisp bright mineral to the finish. The texture is medium-bodied and filled with fruit with a good underlying acidity to provide freshness. A harmonious finish of creamy texture and mouth feel with balanced acidity lures you back for another sip.
