Growing Conditions
The grapes for this Chardonnay were sourced from several Sonoma County vineyards located in the heart of Sonoma Valley's Carneros region. The combined climatic and soil conditions of Sonoma County are ideal for producing exceptional Chardonnay. Carneros is renowned for fog and wine induced cool summers and shallow soils. Mid-season leaf removal helped insure healthy, evenly ripened fruit with natural acid balance and intense apple, grapefruit, and pineapple flavors.
