Palate
Floral notes of orange blossom with aromas of orange, cinnamon and nutmeg tease your senses and this unctuous rich liquid gold coats your palate and tongue. Excellent balance of residual sugar and acid coupled with nuances of botrytis make this a wine to savor and remember.
Growing Conditions
100% Jackson Estate grown in our Monterey vineyards. All of our estate vineyards are certified sustainable by the CCSW (Certified California Sustainable Winegrowing ) and SIP (Sustainability in Practice) programs. Monterey County’s Arroyo Seco riverbed bench fruit delivers citrus and floral notes. The late November harvest emphasized delightful fruit flavors of mandarin orange and tangerine with aromas of orange blossom and honeysuckle.
Harvest
Our Monterey County vineyard had a very pleasant growing season in 2015; it was long enough and certainly warm enough to ripen the fruit fully. The winemaking team loves vintages with rich fruit character and balanced acidity, and at over 42° brix at harvest!
