Growing Conditions

The 2014 growing season was quite moderate overall. Although we received very little rain during the winter, we were fortunate to get a few generous showers in early March which helped to kick-start the growing season and prime the vines for summer. Moderate warm temperatures during summer without excessive heat allowed for slow, careful development of flavors during maturation, and a relaxed timeframe for picking. The resulting wines are generous in fruit character, with depth and complexity. The 2014 growing season was quite moderate overall.
