As it begins to open it delivers aromas of wild blackberry, nutmeg, pipe tobacco and crème de cassis.
Palate
There are rich flavors of blackberry preserves, crème de cassis, anise and mocha in this full-bodied, layered Cabernet. This wine needs time for the tannins to soften and would be best to allow this impressive bottling at least another year in the bottle to mellow
