Firm, deep, complex aromas of earthy cranberry, dried herbs, and Assam black tea speak to the more challenging growing conditions against which mountain grown fruit initially strive, conquer and then flourish – wine truly made in the vineyard and perfected in the winery.

The bold, uncompromising character of Howell Mountain flows through to the palate, where red currant, black plum and mulberry suffused with a background of raspberry, joust with a core of firm tannin, crisp acidity and sweet toasty oak.
