A bright, crisp high-acid chardonnay aged in neutral demi-muids from limestone terrior. This chardonnay grape is a Clone 4 (Olmo #66) grown on 3309 rootstock.
A decidedly high-toned nose derives almost exclusively from the red side of the fruit spectrum while displaying hints of menthol and spice elements. The vibrant middle weight flavors possess an attractive mouthfeel while retaining good delineation on the delicious if slightly warm and dusty finale… it does offer solid depth and persistence.
