Growing Conditions

Bennett Valley, which is Sonoma County’s newest appellation, is rapidly gaining renown for the quality of its Syrah. Because the estate is high in elevation with steep, south and southwest aspects, we have one of the warmest and rockiest sites in Bennett Valley.

Aging

This 2007 Syrah was barrel fermented and aged for 18 months in a blend of Ermitage and Taransaud French oak from the Allier and Vosges forests.
