Nose
An expressive nose that is typical of the Wente Clone of Chardonnay. Subtle floral notes mingle with hints of orange blossom and apricot.
Palate
Clean, balanced Russian River Chardonnay with ripe fruit, bright acidity, and a subtle barrel influence. The palette has an elegant profile. Stone fruit and ripe citrus flavors are supported by restrained barrel notes and completed by bright acidity.
Growing Conditions
In 2015 a cool, foggy spring led to very low crop yields.
Winemaking
We source the grapes for this wine from several top Russian River Chardonnay sites including Ritchie Vineyard and Bacigalupi Vineyard. We barrel ferment all our Chardonnay, which helps create the beautiful texture in the wine.

41% new French oak. 11 months in barrel
