Nose
The nose is a pretty blend of pear, fruit and caramel.
Palate
A rich, textural Russian River Chardonnay with ripe fruit, bright acidity, and a pretty barrel nuance. On the palate those notes continue and are balanced with a hint of Rangpur Lime* in the finish. The crisp acidity of the finish is a perfect balance to the richness of the wine
Growing Conditions
In 2013 we had another perfect growing year and an exemplary fruit condition. Warm days, cool nights, no heat spikes, and no rain meant that wine makers got to dial in the ideal balance between ripe flavors and good acidity.
Aging
41% new French oak. 11 months in barrel.
