Nose

The nose displays a tempting mélange of violet, warm wet rock (like on a hot day after the rain), and cedar.

Palate

On the palate, the wine shows red and black currant intermingled with mocha and earth notes. The tannin structure is elegant with fine-grained, supple, ripe tannins. The texture is perfect.

Growing Conditions

The 2013 vintage brought us the second straight year of perfect weather. A combination of moderate temperatures and no late season rains made it a great year for growers.

Winemaking

The 2013 Flanagan Cabernet was fermented in Taransaud 4 ton fermenters, and aged in 100% new French oak.
