Le Rêve Blanc de Blancs is a highly respected tête de cuvée - our winery's finest sparkling wine and frequently named America's Best Sparkling. French for "the dream," Le Rêve is crafted from 100% estate grown Chardonnay, making it a pure expression of Domaine Carneros.
A favorite among our enthusiasts, this wine expresses great balance while emphasizing fruity and floral characteristics. On the nose, the 2018 vintage welcomes the senses with aromas of rose petal, honeysuckle, grilled peaches, oranges, and white cherry. Flavors of tangerine, strawberry tart, peaches, and marzipan evoke the bliss of a perfect summer day.
Domaine Carneros Brut Rosé is named for Madame de la Pompadour, Louis XV's great paramour. It was she who introduced sparkling wine to the court at Versailles and is famous for having said, "Champagne is the only wine that a woman can drink and remain beautiful." To capture the wine's special fruit character, some of the Pinot Noir juice is allowed several days contact with the grape skins to extract color and flavor. We also add a very small amount of Pinot Noir wine to further enhance the wine's profile.
Through this exceptional wine, one can trace the history of Pinot Noir at Domaine Carneros. In 1992, we made our first two barrels and called it The Famous Gate. For the past twenty-seven years, we have carefully cultivated three small blocks of the Swan selection. This notoriously finicky and shy bearing clone forms the basis of Famous Gate, the highest expression of our Estate grown Carneros terroir.
Domaine Carneros Avant-Garde Pinot Noir features fresh pomegranate followed by sweet cherries, red raspberry, warm oak, and cinnamon. It was created to be the vanguard of the vintage, heralding the distinctive bright berry qualities of the Carneros Region.
The Vintage Brut Cuvée is the signature wine of Domaine Carneros. It encompasses the widest range of estate clones and vineyard blocks of the winery's collection. The tapestry of flavors that result, married with the inherent finesse of the cool Carneros fruit, create wines of depth and complexity that are enhanced by a minimum of three years of bottle age sur lie in the cellar before release.
Verméil Demi-Sec, or lightly sweet sparkling wine. A gorgeous tribute to the 2017 vintage, aromas of honeysuckle, cherry blossom, tangerine, and apples that beckon on a delicate mousse of bubbles.

Domaine Carneros Estate Pinot Noir begins in our six different Estate vineyards, which are certified by Fish Friendly Farming and located within four miles of the Château. We grow twenty different clones of Pinot Noir and each one contributes its unique flavor profile and personality to make this compelling blend which is truly a mosaic of our Carneros terroir.
Hailing from our Le Ciel Serein vineyard and showcasing the expressive "Dijon 667" clone, this Pinot Noir is exceptionally vivid, silky and complex. We call it "Le Ciel Serein" and it just might be the most picturesque ranch in the Carneros AVA. This site was selected for its rolling hills, diverse exposure, and exceptional soils. This edition offers notes of cherries, black raspberry, cedar, and saddle leather.
Each year we put the spotlight on one of the twenty different Pinot Noir clones we grow at Domaine Carneros by bottling it separately. We first bottled the Pommard Clone (aka UCD 5) separately in 2009, and since then we have kept our eye on this consistent performer.
