Nose
Very balanced and lightly styled, Pinwheel displays both the richness of a late harvest wine and the drinkability of Cabernet Franc. Boysenberry, currants, and black fruits lift into a higher spectrum of raspberry, cactus fruit, and bing cherry.
Palate
Earl Grey tea leaves and a very slight sage and dried herb component are characteristic of the varietal. The weight and texture are seamlessly integrated: minimal tannin, broad palate impression, and a very lengthy finish.
