Nose
The Sauvignon Blanc adds grassy, citrus, and stone fruit aromas, while the Muscat adds a pretty florality to the aromatics.
Palate
The Sauvignon Blanc adds a crisp texture and mouthfeel, while the Muscat adds a bit of salinity on the palate. This makes for a balanced, fresh, and bright dry white wine.
Growing Conditions
Our Heritage White is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Muscat. These are two historical varietals from the Old World that were brought here and planted by the pioneers of Napa Valley winegrowing.
Bottling
Unfined and unfiltered.
Winemaking
Our Brannan Heritage White wine is a tribute to the field blends of yore and is made with “The Crown of the Napa Valley” purpose and passion to be a complex, powerful wine that can stand alongside the greatest in the world while speaking to our unique Calistoga terroir and proud California heritage.
About 20% of this wine was fermented on the skins and stems, adding to the varietal integrity, acid profile, and overall freshness and uniqueness of the finished blend.
