Nose
Black and blue
fruits dominate the nose, dried flowers and baking spices counterpoint an intriguing
smoked meat characteristic. The wine shows a strong structure with ripe tannins and
a broad, insistent palate. Blackberry and cassis, baking chocolate and granite evolve
and linger long. Beautiful, showy, and completely representative of the rewarding
vintage.

In the glass, this wine is almost opaque, rich, dark and deep in color.
