Nose
Elegantly
perfumed with lavender soap, sarsaparilla and cedar wood. Judicious use of oak underlies
the fruit, giving this wine beautiful balance with a smooth finish where blackberries
develop along with sweet tobacco and cocoa.
Palate
Our Claret is an extremely approachable wine, displaying great balance between sweet
French oak and rich fruit. A small addition of Syrah softens the tannins on the entry,
allowing the graceful, supple tannins of the Cabernet to build on the palate.
