Nose
Aromas of bacon fat and blackberry pie coexist beautifully with white pepper, burnt sugar and tar.
Palate
The texture of this wine is lush, but has enough muscle to stand up to the richness. Present are mocha and sweet vanilla in cahoots with fruit flavors of huckleberries and plums, all leading to a finish of cassis, cedar and spice.
Appearance
The color of this wine is deep purple, almost black.
