The Sonoma Coast Pinot is a beautiful shade of ruby. The nose is layered, with cherry blossoms, licorice and vanilla. Light gravel and stone with nutmeg spice are also apparent. The wine is round and silky on the palate. More vanilla bean and caramel compliment the ripe red cherry flavors. The tannins are very soft with soft matching acidity. Spring Mountain Merlot is a very bright and fruit driven wine. The nose is bursting with black cherries and blueberry pie as well as cinnamon toast and caramel.
The aromatics are very powerful on the Cabernet Franc, as soon as the cork is popped loads of black plum, ripe cherries and vanillin fill the air. In the glass there is freshly ground peppercorns, black currants and coffee grounds.
The Sangiacomo Chardonnay is a beautiful bright gold color with powerful aromatics. Passionfruit and kiwi jump from the glass which is matched by spiciness, mainly white pepper. There are layers of honeysuckle and jasmine.
