Palate
A beautifully ripe Barbera, delivering plum, dried herbs and ripe dark cherries intertwined with a delicious addition of the finest French oak barrels delivering subtle notes of bakers spice and mocha.
Growing Conditions
Our Barbera comes from Bill Pauli’s Vineyard in the hills just north of Ukiah in Mendocino County. Here, the warm days and cool nights and the red soil of the Mendocino highlands provide ideal growing conditions for this classic Italian varietal.
Food Pairing
Goes well with hearty Italian dishes, grilled steak, carpaccio, and good quality salami such as sopresetta. Ideal with Spanish paella, blackened chicken, and grilled pork chops.
