This deep, well structured red is gorgeous showing a wonderful berry, cherry and spice fruit aroma that carries through to a full palate.

Growing Conditions

Aubaine, in San Luis Obispo County, is no more than 10 miles north of the Santa Maria Valley, with 14 acres planted to Pinot Noir clones 667 and 777. It is an amazing site, planted at 800 feet of elevation, just 5 miles inland of the Pacific Ocean and on a slope that faces directly Southwest into cool southern Central Coast sunlight. The site produces a deep, darkly colored wine with a strong fruit expression on the nose and voluptuous, polished tannins that finish with a lasting impression.
