Nose
Its aromas are quite earthy, with cherry, clove, cardamom, and toast.
Palate
In the mouth, cherries, woodspice, earth, and blackberries dominate the flavors.
Growing Conditions
Montinore is one of the most westerly and northern vineyards in Oregon and is situated at low elevation. The selections we work with are exposed to the north and are planted 1000 vines per acre. The Oregon wine is richer and more intense than our Elke wine.
