Palate
Beautifully constructed. Fresh pear and white peach scents are sharpened by notes of lemon pith and chalky minerality. Juicy, tightly wound orchard fruit flavors start off with a refreshingly bitter quality and pick up weight and sweetness with air. Sweet barrel spice mixes nicely with a lemon limey note from the fruit. It is surprising rich on the palate, and the classic Chardonnay flavors of apple, citrus and vanilla go on and on.
