Our 2012 Côte de Lune Rouge has bright aromatics with notes of strawberry jam, plum, crushed flowers, spiced nuts and hints of toasty oak.
Round mouthfeel with good, intense tannins and texture; long finish with fig and cocoa.
The core of our 2012 Sonoma Valley Côte de Lune Rouge came from the Sonoma Valley AVA. To generate more complexity, we harvested fruit from a handful of low-yielding, rocky sites that offered a diversity of exposures. The cooler, east-facing vineyards brought balance and elegance to the wine while the warmer, west-facing parcelsdelivered riper aromatics and broader tannins.
Fermented in stainless steel, 100% ML. Aged for 18 months in 85% French oak (20% new)
