The 2006 Querencia jumps out of the glass with bright fruit atomas. Cherry, strawberry and ruby grapefruit are complimented with a touch of “crème fraiche”.
On the palate, a fruit forward entry of raspberry and Meyer lemon is followed by dried pineapple and peach cobbler. The Chardonnay backbone of this Brut Rosè delivers a finish of lively balanced acidity
Querencia is produced solely from fruit grown in the Napa Valley Carneros region. This vintage is sold out.
Harvest Dates: August 28 - September 29, 2006
Chardonnay forms the blend's core, providing a relatively light-bodied, crisp and tangy palate. Small additions of Pinot Noir fermented with skin contact add berry brightness and color. Barrel Fermentation: 29%
This brut rosé sparkling wine is hearty enough to complement the robust flavors of Mediterranean cooking and delicate enough to be served with a truly broad range of appetizers.
