Nose

Palate

The palate is round and mouth filling, encompassing flavors of rich, ripe black cherry fruit and complemented by subtle hints of the wine’s terroir. The tannins are fine and delineated, with the finish long and lingering.

Growing Conditions

Comprised of 100% Merlot, the 2000 vintage is an intense, concentrated, artfully balanced wine. Sold out.

Aging

The wine was aged in new Taransaud French oak barrels for eighteen months before being bottled in April of 2002. Ten months of bottle ageing has allowed it to develop further in the bottle.
