Growing Conditions

The grapes are grown in Sonoma Valley, Lake County and Napa Valley. Lake County is one of the oldest California wine growing areas (15 miles from Napa Valley) with vineyards of deep volcanic soils and elevations ranging from 1300-1700 feet resulting in great acidity and crisp rich flavors. The vintage year of 2005 was noteworthy for the balance and smoothness of the wines. The firm tannins originating from lean Lake County soils create the perfect backbone for the fruitiness of Napa Valley. Sold out.
