Nose

honeyed citrus peel, sweet toast, and lemon grass aromatics.

Palate

It is extremely viscous in the mouth with flavors of melon, raw honeycomb, and fig with citrus zest and oak overtones. Because malolactic fermentation was blocked, the wine has plenty of acidity but remains quite round on the palate due to its ripe fruit and barrel aging.
