Nose

Pear and green apple aromas, enveloped by a subtle sweet oak note.


Palate

On the palate, the wine is fresh, balanced, and layered, with a focus of fruit intensity that showed well from entry to midpalate to the lingering finish.

Winemaking

This wine was fermented in a stainless steel tank which took about 4 weeks to finish, so as to maintain the fresh fruit notes, after fermentation, the wine was moved to 100% French oak, of which 50% was new. The wine aged in barrels for 12 months, with monthly batonnage, so as to develop some midpalate roundness and weight, to integrate well with the vibrant acidity of the wine.
