Nose

Heavenly aromas leap from the glass, revealing orange blossom, nutmeg, honey, apricot, lychee, and candied walnuts with hints of grapefruit and cinnamon.

Palate

The wine has a wonderful, silky texture and a long, lingering finish.

Growing Conditions

The 2015 growing season started early in Napa Valley. As California entered its fourth year of drought, we were fortunate to receive spring rains sufficient to fill our reservoir and saturate the soil. Consistent sun and warmth throughout the growing season led to an early crop of high-quality grapes.

Winemaking

The grapes for our Moscato are grown on our Estate St. Helena vineyard in a block adjoining the Napa River. We gently press the grapes and conduct a long, slow fermentation at a very low temperature to maintain the floral and tropical fruit flavors that are the hallmark of Moscato.

Food Pairing

Enjoy on its own for dessert or alongside a fruit tart or grilled peaches with mascarpone and a Balsamic drizzle. Or, place a dollop of: Cambozola cheese on a raisin & rosemary cracker and serve with a toasted pecan.
